A Great Event

Sunday, March 29, 2009 LuCille Tack Center for the Arts, Spencer, WI

Not one but two enthusiastic and clever book clubs came together for a very enjoyable afternoon. Many thanks for the wonderful treats and they were so cute in their aprons.

You go ladies!

That is Harry Toufar, good guy and columnist for the Marshfield News Herald snapping the Spencer Library Book Clubs in full apron regalia.

Thanks to Harry for his support and the excellent article. Read it here.

A big thanks also goes to Deb Janz, Executive Director of the remarkable LuCille Tack Center for the Arts and Ryan for making sure the audience could hear Jay.

It seemed like some of the magic around Eve & Ruby had rubbed off on Jay. He's been looking for a tractor for some time to better tend the pumpkins he grows to produce Hay River Pumpkin Seed Oil.

He's been searching online for tractors in the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota. It has to be noted that these are big states folks. Unbelievably, he found the most perfect of all tractors just 10 miles away from the event.

So, after speaking on stage, a quick change of clothes and wondering if tractors can be predestined,  he and his partner did a test drive and are now the proud owners of the New Holland TC30 on the left.

2009, best year ever for pumpkins!
